How to Brew Moka Coffee:
- Disassemble the brewer and remove the filter from the bottom part.
- Fill the bottom part with water (do not fill above the safety valve).
- Insert the metallic filter basket and fill it with finely ground coffee. Use a coffee grinder to grind the beans to a fine, even consistency, similar to espresso coffee.
- Screw the bottom and top parts of the moka pot together securely.
- Place it on the heat source over medium heat.
- Wait until the water in the bottom chamber starts boiling and steam is forced through the ground coffee up to the top chamber of the moka pot. This typically takes a few minutes.
- When you hear a gurgling sound from the moka pot, the coffee is ready.
- Remove the moka pot from the heat and let it cool slightly before serving the coffee.
